Tulsa Global Alliance partnered with Circle Cinema and Tulsa Botanic Garden for a special screening of Roma, marking the first showing in the upcoming Sister City Film Series that celebrates global stories through film and community connection.
A New Landmark of Friendship: The Caja de Agua at Tulsa Botanic Garden
Tulsa and its Sister City San Luis Potosí celebrated the unveiling of the Caja de Agua Fountain, a gift of art and friendship that now stands as a lasting symbol of international connection at the Tulsa Botanic Garden.
Event: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Caja de Agua Gifted to Tulsa
Join us on Sunday, October 19 at 4 p.m. to unveil the newly installed Caja de Agua Fountain at the Tulsa Botanic Garden.
The public is invited to attend the celebration. Free admission to the Garden will begin at 3 p.m., with the ribbon cutting scheduled for 4 p.m. The Garden will close at 5 p.m.

The 45th Anniversary Sister City Series: San Luis Potosí
Welcome to the first feature in our Sister City Summer Series, a weekly spotlight on Tulsa’s global connections. For the next nine weeks, Tulsa Global Alliance will be sharing stories from each of our Sister Cities, celebrating 45 years of cultural exchange, international friendship, and local impact.

Coffee with the Councilors 2025
TGA’s annual Coffee with the Councilors brought together city leaders, board members, and Sister City representatives to celebrate Tulsa’s global connections. Over a spread of international dishes, attendees shared updates on cultural exchanges, global education, and the economic impact of international relationships.

Over 500 Eisenhower elementary students explored 14 different cultures from across the globe at the 2025 Eisenhower International School Parade and Fair!
Tulsa Receives Caja de Agua Gift from San Luis Potosí
Tulsa received a Caja de Aqua or water box gift from San Luis Potosi, Tulsa's first Sister City. A big shout out to Melton Trucking Lines for providing moving services. The Caja de Agua was delivered to the Tulsa Botanic Garden where the contents of eleven crates weighing four tons will be assembled. When assembled, the water box will measure over eight feet tall.
